well I think using Skype with scripts is the simplest way, even if there are some alternatives like SkypeTalking (which anyway won't be updated anymore). For accessibility, the most important thing is that you go to tools / accessibility submenu, and check both options ("Extended keiboard navigation" and "Screen reading mode"). Then there is a question which is apparently a matter of personal opinion: I personally find default view a bit hard to use because of the built-in chats in the main Skype window; for separating chat Windows, go to View menu, and check the compact view. Last but not least, in the Skype options, under IM appearance, uncheck the option "Show emoticon", which is because JAWS needs to see the text strings instead of the pictures for the dictionary to work properly.
