If you're using Skype 5.10, go where it says "All, change contact list",
press space there, and select Facebook. This is the only way to get to the
Connect to Facebook button in this particular Skype version. Press this
button and you will be asked for Facebook email address and password, click
Sign in, then allow button and that's all.
Beware though, that with Skype 5.10 Facebook contacts are mixed with Skype
contacts in the "all" contact list. At first I thought this was confusing a
little bit, but then I upgraded since latest scripts revisions fixed the
typing indicator issues, and found out that I managed to get used to this.
