Jeremey thanks also where would I get the $90 OEM one from for in the
future? I already solved my problem going to use Instant Bird for MSN,
AIM, GoogleTalk and Facebook, it supports 20 protocols, including
Twitter but I'll continue to use skype for only skype chants and calls.

On the windows 7 issue, you can buy an OEM copy for $90 (Not an upgrade). This
is the full 64bit version of Windows7 home premium. If you use Window Eyes you
can pick up the pro version of Windows7 for about $120 OEM.
I would look closely at your computer as it is very likely you have a hidden
restore partition on that laptop. If the computer has never been formatted,
then it is likely that you can use the hidden restore partition to return that
computer to the exact way it was when it was turned on the first time. Just
about all new computers in the last few years have shipped with a hidden
partition.
You might also want to search for a utility that will help you find the
Windows7 registration numbers.
You have options without having to install Win8 or buy a new computer.

that is great, but that doesn't suffice since I'd still need an original
Windows 7 installation disk to get a serial and all that is registered
to, see this computer was given freely to me, it was and still is in
someone else's name but I changed the computer name to my name but this
person, Linda, happened to be a person that this version of windows is
registered to, and if it comes to this, I'll have to purchase it, in my
own name though I know Windows 7 is expensive to purchase here...my
friend Sarah who used to be my O&M trainer, gave me this computer since
my XP bit the dust. I don't want to reformat it until I get either
Windows 8 64-bit or purchase when I have enough money to do so, Windows
7. So, for now I'll deal with whatever I have to deal with for the time
being. I use Malwarebytes and Microsoft security essentials to scan my
computer and will let you know the results. But I want to bet that I
don't have any viruses/malware on my pc to make skype act the way it
does on my end.

Well, I can't do that because Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit already was
installed on this HPG72 notebook HP installed it, and I don't have
Windows 7 disks to do a reinstall. I've had this computer since May 28th
2011, and it is brand new. Anyway I already made the point I don't have
Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit installation disk.
