Basically I had to check the box under the contacts submenu after I signed into
skype using my Microsoft Account, within the contacts submenu there is an
option to sort your contacts via online status or by name I was told in a
separate email which made me wonder why the page given above never mentioned
this, but Rubin D., from skype support emailed me quickly and told me to check
the option to sort your contacts by name instead and to keep waiting patiently
for the merge to take place since each person's WLM account varies in contact
size, so at least I didn't have long to wait, before after I made the change
which was minor, I actually saw my WLM contacts! Dilemma solved less than 24
hours!

Sometimes If you sign in to skype via the Microsoft account again it does do it
again then if it does, close skype down completely then start skype but tell it
to remember skype user name and password when signing in. WLM haven't got the
option yet to remember user name or password and it does annoy me to why they
haven't added it.

that but in skype I have it set to show all my contacts, whether it be facebook
chat, MsN Messenger and Skype now everyone else is showing up except the WLM
account which I was told was successfully merged. Have any of you had that
issue or is it just me again?

on the fourth tab after complaining to NVDA several times, I finally made it see it, it
said on the fourth tab knowing the the first tab it gets me to is the username for skype
tabbed three times and heard "Microsoft Account" link then pressed enter and
followed the straightforward steps to merge and it told me to from now on to sign in with
my Microsoft Account instead. This was on the sign in screen and I didn't do anything to
change settings nothing was wrong on my end, I just had to wait to hear my screen reader
actually see it. I don't know how to further explain what I did but it finally work, so,
let's rejoice that the support team doesn't have to wrry about hearing from me again.
