Have you tried the usual steps of trouble shooting, pinging your router, pinging google, trace routing, reseting the router, then rebooting the computer to see if it is really your end? Skype was working for me last night but I can look on the blogs to see if they published something.
update: I just checked and skype is up and running, so check those things and see if it is your end and then try the skype test service to see if it is up for you. Take care.
