Hi Michelle and all.
I'm using latest skype, jaws 15 and windows 7 with no scripts.
I do the following.
ctrl d,
enter phone number to dial and press enter.
Phone number connects and asks me to enter in my phone number which
needs dtmf tones to be recognised.
once I have dialled the number and connected I press ctrl shift d and
try entering numbers on the top row of my laptop.
There are no tones and the numbers are not accepted by the system so
after a time the call is terminated.
Am I missing a step?

Inside the conversation, go to Call menu, look for the voice saying,
"Show dialpad" and check it with enter. You can now try using normal
keyboard to use tones, if they don't work try pressing ctrl+shift+d.
