Are you going to pay for my new and shiny win7 and maybe a new computer?
This is a used computer that is about 8 years old and my backup box
is 15 years old and cannot run anything newer than 2k. christmas is
only 4 months away and I take a gift certificate...
I have always been a few years late going to a new version of windows
and it has been ok for me.
anyway, skype is working on xp still. so I will cross that bridge
when I come to it. Didn't someone say skype 7.x will not support xp anymore?

8 are a bit, no,a lot more secure and you can with some tinkering
have it run just as fast, or fater then xp. I would tak eth eplungue
and upgrade as I would do the same thing if I were a developer, quit
support for an old outdated not very secure OS. It only makes sence
both in the corprate and consumer world.
