Hi! Microsoft has not ruined Skype at all, in my opinion, not even the Windows desktop version: some people claim Windows Skype is inaccessible, but that is simply not true. It certainly works fine for what I want to use it for, written Skype chats and spoken Skype conversations: I'm not on Facebook which can be linked to Skype, and when I tried merging MSN with Skype when that started it gave up working, so that merger was cancelled and I have nothing to do with MSN on my Skype any more. I personally use Skype on Windows 7, which is what I have now. It's true that there's an app for Skype for Windows 8 and 8.1 which blind people can't use, but there are still three accessible Skype choices I know of out there, Windows desktop, Mac and IOS, so, in my opinion, Microsoft is not giving up on accessibility for Skype or ruining it, and hopefully they will never do so.
