Respected sir, there is no relationship between alt+page down & jaws script.
In short, you need to repair your jaws.

Recently I have run into a strange problem. When I alt+pagedown to close a
call jaws also locks up to the point that I cannot use jaws nor nvda and
wind up having to reboot my pc. If on the other hand I turn jaws off first
and turn on NVDA and then close the call I have no problems.

Oh yeah, you read well the subject! Now the scripts for Skype 6.18 are
out of beta. We're now on revision 851, which fixes a problem in the
keyboard help mode which affected the help announcements for alt+numbers.
