first of all be careful that your message appeared below your signature...
Secondly, JAWS 9 is no longer supported with the Skype scripts, you need
to update at least to 11 latest update or even better 12, and then to
install Skype's latest version with current scripts (if you wish,
because JAWS 15 has built-in scripts alternatively), since versions
before 6.18 are now blocked.
For the chat messages, if you want them to be separated as was in Skype
3.8, alt+v for view menu, find with arrows the option "Compact view",
and press enter to enable it and go back to Skype.
