at first I recommend you to upgrade your Skype, I though Skype earlier
than 6.18 were no longer supported...
Anyway if you can still use it, go to Tools / Options, you will land on
the general pane; press tab and you find a checkbox which says: "Start a
call when double-clicking a contact", or something similar. Check it
with a space bar, then press the save button.
