My understanding is that Microsoft "retired" all Skypes older than 6.18 by preventing them from being allowed to sign in anymore. That decision by Microsoft is what made me decide to "retire" old script versions by taking them off my web site. :-)
My policy going forward is to support multiple Skype versions with one script set except where this seriously complicates some part of the scripting itself, at which time I split off a new version and make users decide which script version to use based on the Skype version. That is going to happen again with the script release for Skype 6.22 because of the change in typing indicators.
