Hi bill I stay as far away from facebook as possible so that factor wouldn't bother me.
However, my skype was updated to the version i'm currently running through ninite and i think it's fb compatible. Individual preference. First, ninite.com often wants to update your skype to the version which doesn't integrate with FaceBook. I used to have trouble with ninite.com as well when updating Adobe flash player.
