don't know if your second question has been answered...
First of all, the separate dictionary file is no longer useful imo,
because it's included with the Skype scripts, and also because it's
possibly old by now. The second point, for turning off the graphic icons
on Skype do the following:
1. go to Tools menu, and Choose options;
2. press down arrow till you find "Messages & sms, Chat appearance";
3. with tab you should find a checkbox that says, "Show emoticon", just
disable with a spacebar;
4. go with shift+tab which is possibly faster than tab, to find the save
button, and it spacebar on it.
