Try Shift+control altF4 to close Skype.

Hello all. I just wanted to report that my difficulties with Skype Scripts
have been resolved. I had to uninstall the scripts manually because I had
two instances of several of the files: E.G.: skype.jkm and Skype.jss. One
was from 4.25/13 and the other was from 11/21/2014 This seemed to resolve
the issue. Now if I can only get the skype program to close by using alt+f4
I'll be a happy camper.

I find this is usually due to a script translation issue. If you are running
non-English scripts, that's the first place I'd look.
