Hi guys, I had a skype update box appeare the other day out of nowhere, and
as I was in another window at the time, I hit enter, not realising the
update window was in place over the one I was working in. Skype updated,
and now it won't open or uninstall. I'm getting messages about source files
not matching when I try to remove Skype 6.0 from my system, and when I hit
enter to try to open skype, nothing happens for about a minute, then i get a
message saying something about skype timeout error. I've done a virus scan,
and it's not picking anything up. I also tried putting Skype-talking on my
computer too, but that hasn't helped either. Could anyone on here suggest
anything? I'm not sure what that update did, but it seems to have messed up
my system. I'm using windows 7, and jaws 14.0.
