Sorry, I made a pretty big mistake in my previous reply, I should have said that control+shift+escape has always opened Windows Task Manager for me. But the rest of my explanation of what I do, going to Processes, finding the process I want by first letter navigation, and ending that process with the Delete key, also still work for me and I didn't get them wrong in my explanation. You have to press ctrl/alt plus delete and then arrow down to task manager. control tab to processes and then tab to the list of programmes. The shortcut to end a process is alt e.
