Please type Insert+Q in the Skype window and tell me what revision number it gives you. The revision number will be a three-digit number, without a decimal point in it, that is read near the end of the spoken material for that command.
For any Skype 7.x version, you will now want revision 893. If you hear a lower number, or if you do not hear a revision number at all, go to http://www.dlee.org/skype/ and download and install revision 893, then check Insert+Q again to make sure the update installed correctly.
