sounds like you may have your UEFI set to check for USB drives to boot from.
you'll need help to check and change that if that is the case.
although you are running UEFI in BIOS mode I'm sure.

So far, none. The computer is brand new, I just got it last month. Wish Iknew a way of fixing the problem with windows.. One thing it does do thoughthat really annoys me is if my external drive is plugged in, the computerwon't start right. Windows will not start if my external is plugged in, Ihave two externals, one it doesn't matter if it's plugged in or not, and theother one has to be unplugged.The other thing that's getting me is that the scripts worked on thiscomputer before. I don't understand why they stopped.

are getting the message, "These scripts do not support this Skype
version."

There are ten places in the code that can produce this message. In my
experience, though, I have only seen one cause of this problem that is
not a Skype or script version issue: MSAA failure. This is a
Windows-level issue for which, unfortunately, I don't know cause or
cure. I have probably seen it two times in ten years. I would not be
surprised if it affects more than just Skype though.

So my next question: What (if any) other applications give you
problems on that computer?

Ok, if the installer runs without errors, you will not get a log file.
That's ok.

So the next steps:

1. When you are in Skype, type Ctrl+Insert+V and tell me the version
number you get back. This will be the Skype version number. It may
have two parts or four parts depending on what you are running.

2. When you are in Skype, type Insert+Q and tell me what revision
number you get. The revision number is a three-digit number with no
decimal point in it.

attach it, because I think this list blocks attachments.

The log should help me figure out what's happening to you.
