Doug -

No, this wasn't the error I received. When I had no Default.j* files in my
JAWS17 folder, the installation went through just fine. The files in my
scripts install file are dated as late as 10/24, so I assume they're the
most current. With Default.j* files in my shared files folders, I received
messages about Default.jss not being a chained file or something similar to
that.

Jeffrey and Walt,

Did updating to the latest build at http://www.dlee.org/skype/ allow you to
install into JAWS 17? I think all
of you were running into the same problem, but I can't be sure. The
tell-tale sign was the log line that said,
"Compiling -l.jss." "-l" was a compiler flag required by the first public
JAWS 17 beta but not supported by
any public JAWS version before or since.
