Hi! The Skype add-on made for NVDA when Skype 7 was released was certainly pretty good, but I didn't use it for long, as it soon got blacklisted for security reasons, so it's no longer recommended not to use it. However, recent versions of NVDA work better with Skype, especially Skype 7 and later. I use the latest NVDA, so I have its improved Skype support, but I also use a program which can be added to Skype itself, called SkypeTalking, available from: https://code.google.com/archive/p/skypetalking/ This can be used with most screenreaders, including NVDA. It's true that SkypeTalking is no longer veing developed, but it still works well with up-to-date versions of Skype and adds a bit more accessibility than NVDA itself, such as reporting all status changes, not just online and offline, and the ability to open Skype at the same time as SkypeTalking so yiu don't always have to have the Skype window showing. That's just an extra, though, Skype will work fine with just NVVDA's native Skype support. Bye for now! >From Clare
