Hi! Control+shift+escape works to open the Windows Task Manager on Windows XP and Windows 7 as well: I learned that keystroke in my XP days. However, I personally prefer to quit Skype from the system tray, as explained in previous posts in this thread, or using SkypeTalking if I happen to be running that, which I often do as it still works.
