Hi everyone...i went ahead and downloaded the skype.....the
skype.that ws included on the windows10 I updated on my laptop, didn't budge!.
Now i'm curious about something.
when I close out of a skype window..it stil appears there...along
with the person's name I just chatted to.
how do I get rid of it..to where it pops up when I get a message..and
when I close it..it's out?
I'm using jaws18 and windows10.

Don't feel badly that screen confuses a lot of us in the beginning

I personally just would use the tab or shift tab keys to see if it
will move you to different fields on the screen where it may be
asking you for additional information such as:
your Skype user name or password, or even the field that says log in.
If you haven't already set up a Skype account again those same key
strokes will move you around the screen to find the information
fields where you can do all that also.
You did mention you were new at some of this but I wasn't sure how
new you meant you were so if my advice isn't helpful if you could
share more specific details we might be able to give you more relevant help.
The following list of things to let us know is a good place to
start when asking for specific help:
Mac or Windows
what OS are you running like Win7 or Win10
What screen reader are you using? and what version of that screen reader.
which version of Skype oare you trying to work with.
and then state your issue.
I know in the beginning it all seems pretty daunting but in time it
becomes pretty easy so please just hang in there and be kind to
yourself, I promise you it does get better.
