If it's true rthat Microsoft is planning to get rid of Skype for Windows Desktop, I suppose that will mean that anyone with a Windows version earlier than 10 will not be able to use Skype on their computers. And even for those with Windows 10, I wonder how accessible the Windows 10 Skype app is with screenreaders. I am still on Windows 7 here, and may well still be on Windows 7 in September if this faithful old laptop is still going then, which I hope it will be. I have Skype for iPhone but haven't used it much: however, if there comes a time when desktop Skype no longer exists, I may be forced to use Skype for IOS with no other choice, and I won't be the only one. Here's hoping this news about desktop Skype being no longer available from September is only a rumour! A little digression now. Someone told me that from the september, meaning in 2/3 months, we will unable to use Skype for Windows desktop but we'll be forced to use modern Skype for Windows app. Is that correct?
