Hi buddies. First of all I´d like to say that I am new linux and I am using the current version of Slackware. I am searching a chat software for use at the my network. We already use the ICQ Wokgroup for Mirabilis in NT server with Winxp workstation and at this moment a need a client for ICQ Workgroup for linux. This ICQ server is using the port 4000. Before that anybody give a sugestion for I use the ICQ Client as Gaim, Kopete, centericq the current Licq version I´d say that I did it and unsuccessuful.
I found comments at the another grouplist that the last version icq run. The 1.0.1 and 1.0.3 versions run with this server but I had some problems to install this past version with my slackware. Give me say that I make a full slackware instalation, my Kernel version is 2.6.x, Qt is 3.3.8, gcc-g++-4.1.2-i486-1 and cxxlibs-6.0.8-i486-4 When I type # ./configure --prefix=/usr --with-qt-libraries=/usr/lib/ qt-3.3.8 it show this mensage: " You need to install the libstdc++ headers" and stop the instalation.
