Infelizmente nao sei ingles mas aparentemente entendi o seu problema. Aqui no trabalho também usamos ICQ Wokgroup for Mirabilis in NT server com Winxp. Eu nao tive sucessos com outros clientes como Gaim, kopete, etc. Eu uso o SIM http://sim-icq.sourceforge.net/. Basta baixar do linuxpackages e instalar e configurar na porta 5190 que funciona.
