On the subject of APIs...
I know scripting and server-side stuff is really off topic, but I'd like to suggest that LL consider some of the JIRA entries for features that reduce the number of scripts in-world (like llGetLinkPrimitiveParams https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-224 or some kind of per-prim keyed data store like https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-1406) alongside the new script limits.
