I am using Word2k - the following lines are from the localhost_access_log:
10.0.16.153 - - [18/Dec/2001:10:19:45 -0500] "PROPFIND /geneva/Projects/Customer%20Call%20Center/Docs HTTP/1.1" 207 14087 10.0.16.153 - - [18/Dec/2001:10:19:45 -0500] "LOCK /geneva/Projects/Customer%20Call%20Center/Docs/test.doc HTTP/1.1" 403 619 The "document not saved" message only appears when I attempt to save from Excel. But both Word and Excel wind up creating dirs on the webfolder. Where can I find status/exception code descriptions? thanks. -----Original Message----- From: Remy Maucherat [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, December 18, 2001 10:01 AM To: Slide Users List Subject: Re: saving a doc to a webfolder unsuccessful > Hi All, > I have installed Slide and have no trouble creating a Web Folder on my > Windows client that can read and write to the various dirs in my webfolder. > I am able to copy/paste and drag/drop documents to it, however, if I have > Excel, Word, etc. open and perform a Save As and point to the webfolder, I > recieve a message "Document not saved". Slide and Word 2k have been interoperating very well in the past. Are you using this version, or Word XP ? The reason for the failure (exception, status codes, etc ...) could be in the Slide logs. > I have modified permissions for guest: > > <!-- ### Give read/write/manage permission to guest ### > Uncomment the following line to give permission to do > all actions on /files to guest (unauthenticated users) --> > <permission action="/actions" subject="/users/guest"/> > > <permission action="/actions/manage" subject="/users/john"/> > <permission action="/actions/write" subject="+/users/groupA"/> > <permission action="/actions/read" subject="nobody"/> Remy -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
