In order to show off slide\'s, tomcat\'s, java\'s and open source\'s capabilities to a strict Microsoft believer at work, I handed him the URLs to both the slide context, and the tomcat webdav context (I run latest release bin version of both), and he was unable to map them as web folders in Explorer.
Being a non-Explorer user, I couldn\'t help him either. What\'s the deal with making a web folder with slide and tomcat. My process was: 1) Drop the slide.war in tomcat/webapps 2) restart everything and browse to both, using webdavfs on my linux, yes they were up and running 3) He tried to map http://scripture:8080/webdav and http://scripture:8080/slide and none of them was working (scripture is as you may guess my machine). I feel ashamed and wants to redo the trick this tuesday. What should I do (I want him to be able to get and put files from my machine via a web folder in his Explorer)? Thankful for any kicks in the right direction. /O -------------------- [EMAIL PROTECTED] 0733 - 99 99 17 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
