We use slide's webdav. Never tried tomcat's. It works just fine for us with Web Folders as client (we also use Slide client in various guises (95% of the time), DAVExplorer, XML Spy), although there are a couple of serious known bugs in some versions of web folders (see http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg02524.html One odd thing i have experienced from time to time is on some machines, web folders might not work if your url looks like this: http://host:port/some/path/before/webdav/files rather than http://host:port/webdav/files But this is unlikely to be your problem. Try looking at the access log, to see where Web Folders is choking. You could also try a packet sniffer (on a windows box, http://analyzer.polito.it/ works well for us) cheers, Jason > Is there a step-by-step or how-to somewhere, or is this so simple that everybody >else but me fixes it? > > (The thing is that this guy has a role in determining whether we should go with >java/slide/wyona/apache at the company or if we should stick to the home-breed >ASP/IIS-based solution.
