Why couldn't the storage mechanism rename and delete actual filesystem files? Would is the showstopper for supporting such things?

Having a storage implementation that operated on the filesystem (I don't know all the capabilities of FileContentStore, sorry) seems like a reasonable thing to have handy, without having to do an explicit "import" into Slide.

I'm just after the technical issues that are making this difficult or impossible.
