This is interesting.. I have never understood the relationship of the
Jakarta group wrt resources. If I'm hearing that someone or some group
within the Jakarta group has pulled off assigned commiters to work on
another project, then some underlying initiative would have to be
greater than permanently assigned resources to a specific project. Is
this correct? I'm mostly familiar with things like Struts, Commons, and
Tomcat where you see the same names all the time. So what's different
about Slide? Just trying to understand why Slide has become a wasteland
from the core commiters recently in leau of "other things".
