Kurobox (Linkstation) HG has MPC 8241 266MHz and mplayer uses 10% of the CPU to run RealAudio so AlienBBC on DS-106 should work.
If possible, it is best to build mplayer on your own DS-106 system - mplayer configure will pick best options (i.e. no GUI).
