O.K., another one of those tricky ones...
Two Computers, both running Windoze, one 98, and the other 95. I would like
to convert the Win 95 one to Red Hat 6.1. The two are connected via network,
running IPX/SPX under Windows.
Problem 1:The computer to be converted hasn't got a CD ROM. How will I go
about installing RH over the network? I mean, once I get out of Windows,
will the RH6.1 setup be able to connect to the CD ROM via the network???
Problem 2: The computer to be converted has a Scanner connected via parallel
port. I can't connect that scanner to the other computer. Can I make that
scanner available to the other computer once Linux is installed, and how do
I go about it. Can Linux run the scanner (It's a Plustek, 32 bit TWAIN
scanner).
Please help.
Andy
