Yes it is but you learn a lot more. It depends on who the viewers are
expecting. If you where serving text only files it's fine but you can
not run a slashdot service off it.

Depend what domain you want, ie .com, .com.au, .org, net.au etc
If you want a .com.au address you can only get it from MelbourneIT
I have seen .org.au domains take over 3 months to be registered where
.org are registered in a few hours.
