Hello mate..
I am trying to write a shell scripts that can automatically gather and
summarise the usuage and statistics of CPU over a 24 hour period. I have
tried a bit but didn't really know what i was doing. Like i have been trying
to display a table like shown below..I have tried using commands like
crontab, ps, free,uptime, vmstat etc..
Variable processes
from 00.00 to 01.00
Average no of users : 1
Average no of processess : 1
Average CPU usuage : 1
Average mem usuage : 1
....
..
.
If possible can you give me some hint and ideas it would be great...cheers
