Of course *everyone* can't take advantage of public transport. That's just
a sad fact, and hopefully will be something that changes in the
future. But it's important to take advantage of alternatives if they are
available. If you drive your big BMW from Waverton to Wynnard every day,
you need a kick in the pants (IMHO).

With Sydney traffic, a pair of blades may actually get you there quicker
;) As I said, the important thing is to do something if you can, and never
pretend that your actions don't have environmental consequences. The more
ubiquitous this mode of thought becomes, the more chance we stand of
heading off a catastrophe, since it's not just transport and cars that
cause pollution ...
