The Exchange servers which I endure have the SMTP/POP-3 options turned
on and it is bearable. Your first step should be to shout at your
admins.
Failing that there's an MUA called TradeMail at http://cobra.bynari.net/
which claims to support the MS Exchange messaging. I have a funny
feeling that they need to make some changes on the server side tho. Not
sure.
If you do play with TradeMail please let us know how it went - I'd be
interested.
