I think that this sort of virus can still effect the linux community, in two
ways..
If this was to stike a company then the mail systems they are running will
have a huge amount of data hit them in a very small time. I seen one of
these things hit a novell server which hardley noticed, yet a NT server in
another company went in its special BLUE screen mode.
Linux people can say, 1 our freeware server can handle this stress with out
too much hassle, 2.. Our GUI dont have any issues such as those found on the
microsoft solutions.
You can use this situation to push linux into the business world, so that a
NT server or 2 (or a few thousand) to not crash in vain.. Their crashing is
only a opportunity to show the world LINUX and what it can do for you..
