Hi,

I think the problem might be that you havn't removed the PEM passphrase, try
starting apache by not using the init.d script but just typing httpd, and
see if it asks you.

There are instructions that seem to work on www.apache-ssl.org. (on mod_ssl)

The ones I used came of the Thwart web site.... (make one without the PEM
passphrase.... goes like a charm)
