The Linux share of the "web surfing" market seems to be growing slowly rather than dramatically - I had figures around 0.4% 14 months ago. OTOH, the market itself is growing, so there will be more than twice as many web/desktop Linux users now as there were a year ago - even if the number is more like 2 million than the 25 million figures I see being bandied around.
