I'm using 2.2.14-5.0

also i saw a smp kernel at:

ftp://ftp.trelos.com/pub/OLD/LINUX/RPMS/Kernel-Win4Lin1-RedHat6.2smp-2.i386.
rpm

It would appear that the file from trelos is a kernel and the file from
NVIDIA is a patch, yes?

as 2.2.16, I've got to walk before I can run.

So that is kernel 2.2.14

what about getting the sources to 2.2.16 and trying that

I know NVdriver works fine but my problem is the machine has 2 cpus! so
win4lin won't work on it.

was that a kernel or a kernel patch?

if this fails I could try for you

Just means I loose 1 cpu to try

will only take me about 10 minutes to try (3 mins to compile a kernel)
