Quite a few. Three's even a fairly busy news group
bigpond.cable.tech.linux!
You need a login program, and the most popular of these is a C
implementation called bpalogin, available at
http://users.bigpond.net.au/bpalogin/ It was written by one of
BPA's users, and works very nicely.
It's probably safest to actually get the installation working
with Windows of some sort installed: helpdesk doesn't really
have to know you if you have problems while running something
else, but I've found them pretty helpful even so.
Once that's running, the proof by example makes setting up the
Unix equivelant much less traumatic.
