I don't think I was very clear, the software I wrote allowed you to plug a PC
running this haemtology software using into another PC running my software, and
my code emulated the printer handshaking lines. The haematology analyser
thought it was talking to an eepson colour printer.
The bytes that were read in were then assembled into a PNG bit map, and then
converted to a jpeg (There's a bit more to it than that, but close enough for
jazz)
