Even worse is I can't even use email now as a teaching tool.

If I put html source code in-line in my mail, to teach my mum how to do a
hyperlink, everyone can read it except for her because her unlovely outlook
express mail client chooses to reformat everything it gets into [A..z0..9]
only.

I was telling her:
This does not have hypelinks on, and
        <a href="sample.html">This</a> does.

All she sees is
This does not have hypelinks on, and
        This does
(with the second "This" in a colour)

Yet another reason to use Linux / Gnu software and get rid of the M$
rubbish. Try telling that to Corporate Australia!

BTW Outlook (not outlook express) doesn't do this... well maybe some
versions don't ...

- Jill.
