That doesnt mean that the Gimp interface is bad or anything.

A common question with Photoshop users is how to draw a circle, this
isn't 
a vector based drawing program, no "circle" tools here. Someone who does
indeed
know their Photoshop could tell you that the steps are to stroke a
circle selection.

This is done almost exactly the same way in Gimp, select the selection
tool from
the toolbar, hold shift and drag a circle. Then right click on the Gimp
window and 
go to Edit >> Stroke, just like Photoshop it doesnt have a shortcut
either (I guess
PS Actions in 50 do have a purpose)

Oh yeh, dont forget to select your brush size and type to STROKE with !
