also see "squirm", the squid redirector. basically, you give it a list
of regex => replacement url pairs, with a few other hacks/features for
fun.

i replaced a whole list with a cgi script url that randomly chose one
of K's banners.. after a few days, one of the bosses pulled me aside
and asked "who's paying for all this linux advertising? i mean --
everywhere i go, i keep seeing linux ads!"
