OK.. I must've deleted the original with the smb.conf file in it but check
the host lookups lines something like
xxxxxxx = hosts dns lmhosts broadcast
and change it to
xxxxxxxx = broadcast hosts dns lmhosts
then /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb restart
As I said, I must have deleted the old email by mistake so I didn't see if
you have it or not..
