[root@laser /root]# lpr /etc/motd
lpr: lp: lp: unknown printer
yet when I do something like
[root@laser /root]# echo "blah blah" > /dev/lp0
it prints fine..
My /etc/printcap looks like this
lp0:\
:sd=/var/spool/lpd/lp0:\
:mx#0:\
:sh:\
:lp=/dev/lp0:\
:if=/var/spool/lpd/lp0/filter:
