If thats the kernel boot up log, then yeah thats where I found it. I noticed something
when it all went past, then once logged in the floppy just refused to mount disks.
Stupid floppy works fine under Winblows..
Any idea where to go from here.. trash the floppy drive (I have a spare or two)??

NMI is a Non Maskable Interrupt.. which means "hey CPU, I don't care what
your doing and I want service NOW!"
can you check this in /var/log/dmesg and see if the error is in there?
